THANK YOU to our amazing paramedic support team!

The Diamond Protection Kar 1995 team wanted to take a chance to thank some of the behind the scenes crew that make this awesome annual event possible. One of the crucial elements that keeps the annual Kidney Kay Rally pumping along every year is the medical support team. They make sure our vehicles are safe to drive, and we feel confident every year knowing they’re keeping an eye on us when we’re battling risky terrain, speed and long roads.

2015 will be Phil Hoey and his trusty navigator Les Leisfield’s 11th year of providing paramedic support at the Kidney Kar Rally. During the race, they drive the rally route in their 4WD Nissan Patrol. They take on the role of paramedic support for the entire event, responsible for treating sick and injured participants, attending accidents and managing evacuations and hospitalisations.

They’re also the safety standards enforcers of the event. One month before the starting date, all cars go through mandatory pre-checks to make sure they’re up to safety and First Aid standards. The day of the race they are checked once more.
Once again, a big shout out and massive thanks to the AMBO Team from Kidney Kar Rally. You keep this operation revving!
